Since foundation in 1993 ASKOM has delivered turn-key automation, control and supervisory systems based on products of world leaders - Siemens, General Electric, Neles Automation. For the last 10 years ASKOM has been providing automation systems to almost 200 complex installations and plants. These systems control chemical plants and conveyor flights, provide automation of boilers, heat stations and production lines in food industry. They remotely monitor and control gas piping and water supply systems. ASKOM know-how allows to integrate systems delivered by different manufacturers into single supervisory system for production management from a level of computer stations.
The outstanding example of our activity could be seen in Nutricia BabyFood Plant in Opole, where modern control system for 2 production lines was designed, delivered and set working in 2004/05. It was based on PCS7 DCS equipped with SIMATIC BATCH software conforming rules of ISA S88 standard.
The main ASKOM product is SCADA system ASIX, the powerful and high-efficient engineering tool equipped with scripts mechanism and Internet data exchange possibility.
